In the design phase for our client’s new lake home that will replace the existing house that has too many issues to make a home that suited the needs of their family. This will be a lake home that is about fun in every way. This client wanted a modern with cues taken from our brighter days mid century modern ranch home design. This house is for entertaining and relaxing with the deck pool with infinity edge that is over 30′ in length that spills over into a waterfall. All of the bedroom suites face the lake and have full baths. the lower is the place to be with a large bar, lounge, movie theater that seats 14, billiards, wine room with cooler display and a full spa with steam room. All of the design was driven by the lot restrictions for the improvement percentages that are very stringent to the amount. With a house like this it is to remember it is important to be open to an unusual design layout that might increase the overall designs.
